The spider diagram above is the initial ideas we brainstormed as a group, once we found out the requirements for the mini-brief. This that a character needs to enter a room and cross the room, therefore the ideas above are written down as these can all be interpreted for the requirements.
For example, a breakup and proposal can both be done in a room as well as announcing pregnancy. The idea about 'who is the father?' may have been more challenging as the scene only needs to be 30 seconds long and this would be a complicated situation that would need more than 30 seconds.
This is why we chose the interrogation as this can be done in the 30 seconds rough time slot and also help us to prepare for our main production which has to be horror genre. Moreover, this idea also allows someone to walk into a room and exchange conversation so therefore we went with this idea.
